2 BTO flats with shorter waiting times are achieved primarily by starting construction works before the BTO projects are launched for sale, often about one year ahead.
3 To meet strong housing demand in the near-term, HDB will be launching up to 23,000 flats in 2023, with a total of up to 100,000 new flats from 2021 to 2025 if needed. Where possible, HDB will launch BTO projects with shorter waiting times. Details on flats with shorter waiting times in our sales launches will be announced at a later date.
