Mr Gan Thiam Poh: To ask the Minister for National Development (a) whether Ministry intends to develop the open land between Tampines Expressway and Fernvale Street; and (b) if so, what is the plan and when will the plan be carried out.

Answer:

The plot of land between Tampines Expressway and Fernvale street contains sites with a mixture of zones, including Residential, ‘Civic & Community Institution’, ‘Place of Worship’, ‘Park’ and ‘Road’ use. Government agencies are currently working on future plans for the site, and will share more information with the public when ready.
