Mr Patrick Tay Teck Guan: To ask the Minister for National Development for each of the years from 2007 to 2016, what is the number of
a. property/estate agencies in Singapore and
b. housing/estate agents registered in Singapore.
Answer:
CEA was set up in October 2010 to administer the new regulatory framework for the real estate agency industry. The annual number of Estate Agents (EAs) and real estate salespersons (RES) since CEA’s formation is as follows:
