To ask the Minister for National Development in each year for the past five years (a) how many orders have been issued against offenders in animal cruelty cases disqualifying them from owning any animal; and (b) what is the average and median length of the disqualification orders issued.

Answer:

The number of disqualification orders issued against animal cruelty offenders from 2018 to 2022 and the breakdown of the disqualification period are shown in Table 1.
