To Our New EDGE Scholarship Recipients - A Warm Welcome to the MND Family!

60 freshly minted MND EDGE (Executive Development and Growth Exchange) scholarship recipients received their certificates from Minister Khaw Boon Wan this morning. (Please see Annex A (PDF 111.61KB) for some of the students’ profiles.)

Some have a passion for architecture and city planning; others, a curious love for nature and animals. Whether it is drawing inspiration from exploring Singapore’s nature parks, or gaining a better understanding of the needs of the people through their personal interests, MND’s EDGE scholarship recipients come from diverse backgrounds and interests. Yet, they have one commonality – each and every one of them desires to play an integral part in shaping Singapore into an endearing home and a distinctive global city.

Our scholarship recipients will pursue their university studies in diverse fields ranging from geography and zoology, to design and architecture. As different as these disciplines may be, every EDGE scholarship recipient will come together at the end of their studies to join MNDHQ, AVA, BCA, CEA, HDB, URA, and NParks. They will each play a meaningful role in contributing to the MND Family’s pursuit of urban solutions to create a future-ready Singapore – one that is liveable, sustainable and resource-resilient.
