Mr Pritam Singh: To ask the Minister for National Development which three Town Councils have the largest number of flats eligible for upgrading under the Home Improvement Programme.
Answer:
Flats built up to 1986 and have not undergone the Main Upgrading Programme are eligible for the Home Improvement Programme (HIP).
The three town councils with the largest number of flats eligible for HIP are Aljunied-Hougang, Jurong-Clementi and Nee Soon.
HDB is working to complete the selection of the remaining HIP-eligible flats by FY2018.
