Appointment of New Deputy Presidents and Board Members for The Strata Titles Boards

The Strata Titles Boards (STB) welcomes two new Board members for a two-year term. Mr Chan Chee Kong and Mr Goh Heng Hoon will be appointed as Board members from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026. Two existing Board members, Mdm Zahara binte Bakar and Ms Kan Shuk Weng, will also be appointed as Deputy Presidents from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026.
Mr Alfonso Ang Cheng Ann will be re-appointed as President of STB for a fifth term, with effect from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026. Ms Lee Lay See will be stepping down as Deputy President after completing her term on 30 September 2024. She will continue as a Board member with her re-appointment from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026.
Three Board members will be stepping down from STB after their term ends on 30 September 2024 (see Annex A), while the rest of the Board members will be re-appointed for another two years from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026. All STB Presidents, Deputy Presidents and Board members are appointed by the Minister for National Development. The new Strata Titles Boards will comprise one President, five Deputy Presidents and 44 Board members (full list at Annex B).
The new Board will continue to serve the community by facilitating and reconciling all disputes effectively and expeditiously.
MND and STB welcome the new Board members and extend our deepest appreciation to the outgoing Board members for their invaluable service and contributions towards the community.
