Mr Chua Kheng Wee Louis: To ask the Minister for National Development in respect of private residential property purchase transactions and rental transactions entered into by Singaporeans, what is (i) the respective number and (ii) respective percentage share of these transactions for those aged between 35 and 39 years old, 30 to 34 years old, 25 to 29 years old and below 25 years old for each of the years over the last ten years.
Answer:
Of the private residential purchase transactions (including ECs) by Singapore Citizens (SCs) over the past 10 years, the breakdown by age of the purchaser is shown in Table 1 below.
