Mr Lee Yi Shyan Attends the 6th China (Binhai Tianjin) International Eco-City Forum and the 12th China-ASEAN Expo

Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry & National Development will be in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) from 14 to 19 September 2015.

Mr Lee will attend the 6th China (Binhai Tianjin) International Eco-city Forum in Tianjin on 15 September, where he will speak on the theme of “Eco-city and Sustainable Development”. During his visit, Mr Lee will meet senior Tianjin officials to exchange views on the progress of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city project.

Mr Lee will also be in Nanning from 16 to 18 September to attend the 12th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO). It is an annual investment promotion and trade exhibition that seeks to promote economic cooperation between ASEAN and China. China is ASEAN’s largest trading partner.

Mr Lee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of National Development and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
