Minister Desmond Lee to Co-Chair the 10th Singapore-Tianjin Economic and Trade Council Meeting in Tianjin, China

Minister for National Development and Minister-in-charge of Social Services Integration Desmond Lee will be visiting China (Beijing and Tianjin) from 24 to 28 September 2024 to co-chair the Singapore-Tianjin Economic and Trade Council (STETC) meeting. Minister Lee will be accompanied by Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and National Development Sim Ann. 

Minister Lee will co-chair the STETC meeting with Tianjin Mayor Zhang Gong, together with STETC Vice Co-Chairman SMS Sim.

As part of the visit, Minister Lee will attend and deliver remarks at the Singapore-China Green & Low Carbon Forum. Minister Lee will also engage in bilateral meetings in Beijing and Tianjin. 

Minister Lee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of National Development and Enterprise Singapore. A business delegation comprising more than 50 representatives from various Singapore companies and organisations will also join the trip.
