Jinquan is the Head of the award-winning Patent Analytics team at IPOS International, with over a decade of experience in global and industry-wide technology landscape scanning and analysis. He specialises in applying patent analytics to identify key technology trends, spot R&D and business opportunities for organisations. Jinquan has advised various government agencies including the Prime Minister Office, National Research Foundation, and Ministry of National Development, on R&D planning with actionable technology intelligence. He also provides consultancy and expert advice in IP and business strategy to government-linked companies and local enterprises.

 

Jinquan’s professional experience is complemented by a strong technical foundation – he holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore and was awarded the prestigious President’s Graduate Fellowship in his doctoral candidature for his exceptional accomplishment in research

 

Mr Adam Matthews

Adam Matthews (MBA) is the Head of International at the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) and the UK’s Construction Innovation Hub; Chair of the Global BIM Network and former Chair of the EU BIM Task Group (2015-2018).

Adam advises governments and national committees on strategies to drive the digitalization of the construction sector. He has consulted on national innovation programs with over 40 countries and multi-lateral organisations across Europe, Latin America, Asia and the US.

With over 30 years’ experience in information technology, strategy and change management across the built environment, as a founding member of the UK Government’s BIM program he co-authored the UK Government's BIM Strategy (2011) and designed the UK's international BIM program methodology (2017). Adam was Chair of the EU BIM Task Group (2015-2018); and lead author of the EU BIM Task Group's 2017 Handbook for the Public Sector introduction of BIM.

He holds an MBA in construction sector policy and sustainability, is MBCS (UK) and doctoral researcher at Cranfield School of Management

 

Mr Sumit Oberoi

Sumit is the Industry Strategy Manager with Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) in the APAC region. In his role he is a key contributor in defining and executing ACS strategic priorities. The mission of ACS is to help teams meet the world's rapidly expanding building and infrastructure needs, while making construction more predictable, safe and sustainable.

 

Sumit’s previous role was National Director and Victorian Executive Director with the AMCA. Sumit was instrumental in the development of the BIM-MEPAUS Initiative from its inception in 2010. Sumit is a passionate industry advocate who believes in helping industry deliver quality projects through construction innovation. Sumit formerly held directorships with Plumbing Joint Training Fund, Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services Exhibition, and Australian Refrigeration Council. He also represented the AMCA at the Australian Construction Industry Forum and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 

Mr Mahendran Reddy

Mahendran Reddy is a highly driven professional with 25 years of international professional experience in the creative and manufacturing industries in both the private and public sectors.

As a trained architect, he has held key strategic appointments in driving innovation and initiatives in the Singapore civil service, notably the establishment of the National Design Centre in Singapore.

In the private sector with a global MNC, he has driven the adoption of Additive Manufacturing in its fledgling form in South East Asia mainly in the consumer segment of the business.

In his current role at NAMIC, he is actively involved in seeding the adoption of Additive Manufacturing in Industries and expanding the AM ecosystem by initiating collaborative research projects between Industry and Institutes of Higher Learning as well as spearheading NAMIC’s flagship Global AM Summit series.

 

As a media personality, he has hosted numerous shows on mediacorp’s Vasantham channel.

 

Mr Sumanth Kambhammettu

Sumanth Kambhammettu leads the Tango Robotics Business Unit at HOPE Technik, where he is responsible for commercialization, growth and partnerships. More specifically, he leads a team of engineers working closely with the Singapore Government to develop a solution that improves interoperability between robotic systems in healthcare and other sectors. The solution aims to reduce the effort required to integrate robotic systems to hospital IT and infrastructure systems while providing hospitals the flexibility to deploy different types of robots. In addition, he has represented HOPE Technik as a speaker at various industry events such as Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum, San Jose (December 2019) and Future of Healthcare Robotics Forum (June 2020)

 
Prior to joining HOPE Technik, Kambhammettu worked with the Southeast Asia Health Industries strategy advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, advising hospitals, MedTech, pharmaceutical and public sector clients on growth, go-to-market and commercialization strategy. He has worked extensively with the local health innovation ecosystem in Singapore.
 

Dr. Ng Hsiao Piau

Dr. Ng Hsiao Piau is a Programme Director at Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Built Environment Research and Innovation Institute (BERII). He heads the Advanced Construction & Innovation Planning Department which oversees the BE Robotics and Cities of Tomorrow R&D Programmes and support various research and innovation efforts in Robotics & Automation, and Advanced Construction Materials. The department also manages the BE Living Lab Framework and Building Innovation Panel who facilitates test-bedding and deployment of innovative solutions.

Hsiao Piau holds a PhD and Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore, and did his post-doctoral training at Harvard University. He was a recipient of the A*STAR Graduate Scholarship (PhD) and A*STAR Graduate Scholarship (Post-Doc).
